Re: A Marijuana Arrest (non-Dead) |
I think it's possible to fall so far into illegal things and drugs that you forget that there are laws that make distributing or possessing them illegal.. I know when I had some dosing experiments, i sort of wondered.. "just why exactly IS this illegal?" and I felt like asking some people in the main room of my hostel is lsd was legal in the hostel. ha!

10-6-66: lsd became illegal. Owsley busted soon after.
countless bathtub concoctions fill the gap - brown acid is introduced. The Salad days of the hippies turn into a freak show.
Nixon administration resorts to paraquat spraying
pot shortage in Summer of '69 leads to hard drug epidemic.
like the prohibition, windfall profits for organized crime.
War on drugs replaces war on poverty.
School test scores plummet.
More and more drugs are made illegal to "save the children"
more and more law enforcement agencies are created.
Americans lead the world in black market drug consumption.
Today's kids have never: hand-rolled up a car window,
done legal lsd, been drafted, traded or recorded tapes,
read comic books printed on pulp paper, (except collectors)
used rabbit ear antennaes or watched "free" tv,
manually changed the channel, seen Pigpen in concert...

You got that right. I remember when I was the remote control. Ah, the good old days of 3 channels and 2 more on the UHF.
But I have always wondered what it would be like to do LSD legally.

My dad had a broom-stick w/ a slot carved in the end so he could change the chaneel from a remote(6 ft max) location.:)
It doubled as a pound the the floor, shut-the-hell-up-down-there stick!
